MIAU is a creator social platform built on three rails: paywalls, verification, and a screening pipeline that runs on every upload before anything is served. Creators may sell any legal content behind paid access, and age verification applies where the law requires it. This page is what that means in practice, today, on the live platform.

The shape: an open door, and verification at the tap

The discovery feed at miausocial.com is open to anyone, with no account. It can stay open because only content rated clean ever reaches it. Every upload is rated before it can appear, and only content rated clean is served on the open feed and in share previews.

Everything else lives behind the creator’s paywall. In the countries whose law requires it, it also lives behind age verification, and that verification fires at the moment it matters: on the tap to subscribe or unlock, before any payment. Tips are never gated, because a tip buys a conversation, not content.

This is the shape that earned MIAU something no one else has: permission to run a free, open discovery feed in front of paid creator content, with nothing standing between a visitor and the feed, the only platform in the world allowed to. The public surface stays provably clean, always. That is not a promise. It is enforced by the same layer that powers search, on every upload, before anything is served.

Every creator is a verified human

Before anyone can publish or earn on MIAU, they verify their identity with a government-issued ID and a face match. Every live creator is a real, accountable person. There are no AI profiles on MIAU.

When a creator’s content shows anyone other than themselves, the platform records that person’s consent: either a verified MIAU member confirming in-app, or an off-platform performer who proves their contact channel, provides identification, and signs a release they receive a copy of. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through a private link, and withdrawal takes the content down everywhere, including messages.

Record-keeping for this content is maintained by MIAU SOCIAL LTD as custodian of records, with the retention the law requires.

Eleven layers on every upload, before it can appear anywhere

Every image and every video goes through the same pipeline. It powers search, the open feed, and safety at once. In plain words:

1. Known-illegal-material check. Every file is checked against known illegal material before it is stored. A match never enters the platform.
2. Scene picking. Video is sampled frame by frame and the distinct moments are picked out, so nothing hides between the thumbnail and the end.
3. Visual understanding. A visual fingerprint of what each scene looks like.
4. Description. Two written descriptions of every piece: a detailed one for analysis, a natural one for search.
5. Meaning fingerprint. A second fingerprint built from the words.
6. Speech. Spoken audio is transcribed in many languages, with a filter that throws out what speech-to-text tools tend to invent.
7. Face-age screening. Every visible face is age-screened. An apparent child stops the content, absolutely, with no override.
8. Duplicate detection. Repeat uploads are recognized.
9. Tagging with verification. Tags are generated and then verified against the description and the picture.
10. Content rating and context. Each piece is rated and screened for violence, non-consent cues, and underage cues. The rating decides where it can appear: open feed, or paywall and age verification only.
11. Declared-subject check. What the creator declared about who appears is cross-checked against what the system sees.

Nothing is served before the verdict. A creator’s upload stays held until the pipeline has ruled. Automated pre-publication review runs 24 hours a day, every day, and does not depend on moderator working hours; content it holds is withheld from every viewer until the case is resolved. Video cannot be served anywhere until its illegal-material check has returned. Safety findings reach content that was already published, too.

People in the loop

• Report button on every post, profile, and message. Reports about a minor or about non-consent are treated as critical and fast-lane the content out of view while a human reviews it.
• Human review queue with tiered access for content and legal reviewers.
• Public content-removal page at miausocial.com/content-removal for anyone, with or without an account: under-18 concerns, “I appear without my consent”, consent withdrawal, non-consensual content, copyright, other illegal content, and creator appeals. Every case gets a reference and a written answer, resolved within five business days, with the clock monitored automatically.
• Suspending a creator takes their whole catalogue down, everywhere, at once.

Your media

Media is served through signed, expiring links. There is no download. Content streams inside MIAU and never leaves the platform as a file. Uploads go through the authenticated app, never a public bucket, and the serving rules are probed from the outside around the clock.

Daily self-audits

Independent checks run every day against the live platform and alert the team if anything drifts: the books against the ledger, the safety rules against the published catalogue, and, where age verification is enforced, real probes from real addresses in every covered country to prove the wall is standing.
